My first 100 days serving as the 2018-2019 National Youth of the Year have been nothing short of amazing and spectacular. When first embarking on this journey, I was unsure of what to expect. These past 100 days have made me feel boundless.

I was given the luxury of starting my college career without having to worry about how I will pay for it. I have been a part of many once-in-a-lifetime experiences. From traveling to Los Angeles to deliver the game ball at the World Series to traveling to Disney World and experiencing the magic that Disney provides with my family.

I have had the opportunity to experience the Boys & Girls Clubs of America headquarters in Atlanta and meet with our CEO Mr. Jim Clark. I have also been able to meet and interact with Boys & Girls Club kids from all across the United States, as well as those directly within my neighborhood. I have been given the opportunity to grow tremendously as a person, and I can’t wait to see what my next hundred days entail.
