Spin Master

Spin Master and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America are partnering to help kids harness their creativity and develop the skills to achieve things they thought unimaginable by supporting arts programming and contest on the MyFuture platform.

Grow, Explore and Learn through Play

In 2021, Spin Master supported the arts programs at five local clubs and two My Future contests to inspire future toy makers! The Plushy Mouse contest encouraged young people to use their creativity to create a plushy mouse out of a sock, and the Plushy Character contest encouraged youth to create their own plushy character. The second contest featured a live virtual career panel, where Spin Master employees shared how they ended up making toys as a profession, and the winners of both contests got special prize packs.

My Future

In 2022, Spin Master is excited to support the development of new online arts programs for the My Future platform, as well as two contests: one that builds on the earlier plush challenges and another featuring the iconic Rubik’s Cube TM. We can’t wait to see what can be achieved this year!

About Spin Master

Spin Master gives children in communities around the world the opportunity to grow, explore and learn through the power of play. We focus our philanthropic programming to further that mission through charitable giving, educational investments and toy donations. Through our efforts over the course of 2021 with organizations in over 18 countries, we impacted the lives of close to 300,000 children and youth in the communities we serve and beyond.

Impact on Kids

Through partnering with Samsung, we expanded access to the DIY STEM program and developed the Climate Superstars Challenge. The DIY STEM program serves as the entry-point for all members' STEM learning experience at Clubs and provides youth exposure to STEM through five modules: Energy and Electricity, Engineering Design, Food Chemistry, Aeronautics and the Science of Sports: Football. Climate Superstars aims to encourage youth to raise awareness about climate change and motivate them to take actions that help protect the environment.

Samsung's partnership enables interactive, hands-on learning while providing students with new perspectives on STEM careers and access to the latest technology. In addition, our partnership with Samsung goes beyond our programs and includes cause marketing initiatives that help promote awareness and drive donations for the organization. Through exclusive access to unique experiences such as the Las Vegas Galaxy Studio pop-up with singer Kelly Rowland and music producer and artist DJ Marshmello and a Winter Wonderland video production featuring YouTube star Casey Neistat, Samsung helps expand their understanding of STEM and encourages them to be the next generation of creators and innovators.
