Apple

Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Apple are committed to supporting an equitable future, creating access and opportunity for digital access, coding and more for today’s kids and teens.

Community Education Initiative

Apple and Boys & Girls Clubs of America are partnering to advance learning opportunities and outcomes in STEAM for Club youth, with a focus on coding, creativity and community-connected learning.

Coding empowers kids and teens to create and collaborate on the basics of app development, while building workforce readiness skills such as critical thinking and creative problem-solving. Select Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation will be able to enhance existing STEM programming with Apple’s free Everyone Can Code curriculum, a supply of iPad devices and ongoing professional support from Apple educators.

“At Apple, we believe education is a force for equity, and that all learners should have the opportunity to explore and develop coding skills for their future,” said Lisa Jackson, Apple’s vice president of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives.

A national partner of Boys & Girls Clubs of America since 2020, Apple is committed to creating more equitable futures for generations to come through their Community Education Initiatives, partnering with organizations serving communities that have been under-resourced and underrepresented in technology.
