The Allstate Foundation and Boys & Girls Clubs of America have teamed up to create a new platform that will digitize programs and increase accessibility, customizability and usability of social-emotional development programming and resources for Clubs and Club youth.
The new platform, made possible by The Allstate Foundation, will provide digital program delivery and content that integrates social and emotional learning (SEL) across our five core program areas: Education, Health & Wellness, Sports & Recreation, Leadership & Service, and Arts. The Allstate Foundation’s funding will increase accessibility, customizability, and usability of SEL programming and resources for Clubs and Club youth.
The platform will provide Club leaders and staff with immediate access to SEL programs. The work will be built upon learnings from MyFuture.
In 2021, we conducted a pilot of the platform and digitized critical programs for evaluation and measurement of effectiveness with a select group of Clubs. In 2022, we are doing a full launch and roll out of the “Club Programs” platform.
The Allstate Foundation champions SEL and service-learning programs to ensure youth reach their full potential and have the power to build the just, equitable and healthy world we all deserve. The Foundation partners with nonprofit organizations to create a continuum of SEL and service-learning programming that supports youth in school, after school, at home and in their communities. In 2020, The Allstate Foundation supported 15.4 million youth to become a positive force in the world. Every day, 15 million kids leave school with no place to go.
