Look past the reflection on someone else’s eye, because only then will you see from their point of view” – Anonymous

Bullying is a world wide issue that is continuing to this day. Another being teen suicide, which often results from bullying. Our teen program back on Kaua’i, at the Lihu’e Clubhouse, wanted to show that we care for our youth and community by spreading awareness about these issues. We demonstrated suicide and bullying prevention awareness within the community throughout a teen-led event called “True Colors.” True Colors was a Color Run Obstacle course that encouraged the community to never give up and to persevere. It had a successful outcome that embraced support within our schools and communities. We encourage each other to spread awareness, as well as positivity, and we challenge you all to do the same.
